Welcome to Sonic City
collecting the stories and sounds of Leeds

This site is now no longer active for comments. The Sonic City project(2006-9) is now an archived site, rescued by The Oral History Company and hosted by Computify Ltd.

Sonic City was a unique project involving people from all over Leeds bringing alive the landmark buildings and public spaces of the city through recorded sound and personal memories. It remains a contemporary sound archive and a rare opportunity to experience a city through the voices of its people.
